Welcome to ReemArc Education. These Booking & Cancellation Terms explain how our online mathematics tutoring sessions are booked, paid for, rescheduled and cancelled.
We aim to provide a professional, transparent and supportive learning experience for every student and their family.
1. Our Tuition Services
ReemArc Education provides personalised online mathematics tutoring for students aged 7–18, including one-to-one lessons and small-group sessions.
Lessons are normally 60 minutes long and delivered online through Microsoft Teams.
Our services are designed to support students' mathematical understanding, confidence, problem-solving skills and academic progress.
2. Booking a Lesson
All bookings for students under 18 must be made or authorised by a parent or legal guardian.
One-to-one lessons can be booked through our website using Microsoft Bookings, subject to availability.
Parents can select an available date and time and provide the information needed to arrange the lesson.
Once a booking is submitted, Microsoft Bookings automatically sends a confirmation email containing the appointment details and, where applicable, a Microsoft Teams meeting invitation.
A booking reserves the selected appointment time but remains subject to the payment requirements in these Terms.
Submitting a general enquiry does not constitute a confirmed lesson booking.
3. Lesson Prices and Payments
Our current lesson prices are displayed on the Tuition Options & Prices page of our website.
For Primary Maths tuition (ages 7–11), our advertised prices include:
One-to-one lesson (60 minutes): £30 per student
Small-group lesson (60 minutes): £12 per student
Payments for online bookings are made securely through PayPal using the payment link provided in the booking confirmation email.
Payment must be completed within 24 hours of booking and before the lesson begins. Where a booking is made close to the lesson time, payment must be received before the scheduled start.
If payment is not received within the stated period, ReemArc Education may contact the parent or guardian and cancel the unpaid reservation after providing reasonable notice.
Parents should ensure that their booking details and payment information are accurate.
4. Tuition Packages
Where offered, parents may purchase prepaid tuition packages consisting of four 60-minute lessons.
Package prices and the number of included sessions will be clearly communicated before purchase.
Packages do not renew automatically.
Lesson dates will be arranged with ReemArc Education, subject to availability.
Any package validity period, arrangements for unused lessons and applicable refund conditions will be communicated and agreed before payment is accepted.
5. Rescheduling Lessons
We understand that family circumstances and schedules can change.
Parents are asked to provide at least 24 hours' notice when requesting to reschedule a lesson.
Where sufficient notice is provided, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative appointment, subject to availability.
Requests made with less than 24 hours' notice will be considered individually, taking account of the circumstances and applicable consumer rights.
Any additional charges or restrictions will only apply where they are fair, lawful and clearly agreed in advance.
6. Missed Lessons and Late Attendance
Students are encouraged to join their Microsoft Teams lessons on time and be ready to participate.
If a student is late, the lesson will normally finish at the originally scheduled time.
If a student cannot attend, parents should notify ReemArc Education as soon as reasonably possible.
Where a lesson is missed without notice, we will review the circumstances and any request for a replacement lesson fairly, in accordance with these Terms and applicable consumer law.
7. Cancellations by ReemArc Education
If ReemArc Education needs to cancel or rearrange a scheduled lesson, we will notify the parent or guardian as soon as reasonably possible.
Parents will be offered a suitable alternative appointment or a refund for any paid lesson that cannot be delivered.
No additional charge will be made where a lesson is cancelled by ReemArc Education.
8. Consumer Cancellation Rights and Refunds
Parents retain all applicable statutory consumer rights.
For online service contracts, a statutory 14-day cancellation period will generally apply, subject to the relevant legal conditions and exceptions.
Where parents expressly request that tuition begins during this cancellation period, they may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already provided if they subsequently exercise their statutory cancellation rights, where permitted by law.
Any loss of cancellation rights following full performance of a service will apply only where the legal requirements have been met.
Refund requests will be considered fairly and handled in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights.
9. Safeguarding and Online Learning
The safety, wellbeing and privacy of our students are important to ReemArc Education.
Online lessons are intended only for registered students.
Parents and guardians are responsible for providing an appropriate learning environment, ensuring students have access to the necessary equipment and maintaining accurate contact information.
Students and tutors are expected to communicate respectfully and follow ReemArc Education's safeguarding procedures.

10. Technology and Online Lessons
Lessons are delivered using Microsoft Teams.
Parents should ensure that students have access to a suitable device, a stable internet connection and an appropriate learning environment.
If a technical problem interrupts a lesson, ReemArc Education will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue or arrange an appropriate alternative.
Any refunds or replacement sessions will be considered according to the circumstances and applicable consumer rights.
11. Privacy and Personal Information
ReemArc Education collects and processes personal information necessary to manage bookings, communicate with parents and deliver tutoring services.
Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
